  • my 'mr clean auto dry' review

ok, YES, this **** really works. forget car washes, this is the only thing i will be using from now on!!!!!!

the kit is $30 at canadian tire, comes with hand gun, soap, and de-ionizing filter. the soap i used up 60% on one wash, the filter is good for 3 washes. basically it came with starter materials, if you like it, you have to go and buy the refills.

ya car is dry, NOT A SINGLE WATER SPOT, beautiful. i highly recommend, at first i was skeptical, but since they offer a guarantee, i didnt care, and i can say i'm keeping it.

Sounds interesting. I'd be interested to hear the price of the consumables though... like a $/wash kinda figure.

Yeah I would be interested to know how long the filters last, because well, drying is a pain.

Re: my 'mr clean auto dry' review

ok, here is info on that vs. car wash:

the refill filter is $8.99, its good for 10 washes. the refill soap is $7.99, its 600ml. You need about 100ml of the soap per wash.

so, to wash your car, its gonna be: $8.99/10 + $7.99/6 + water... so lets say $3 with everything, assuming you already got the kit, beats the car wash, and you dont have to dry, so less swirls for you.

the best part of this whole thing, is watching the car dry, lol.

That is good to hear, I was pretty skeptical when I saw the ad for this. Bart, did you wash the car with a mitt & bucket of water, or just the Mr. Clean thing?

mit, you spray the soap from the gun and wipe the car with the other hand, then rinse with regular water, then with that filtered water.

Me too :( I thought there was some calgary bi-law stopping you from using soap to wash your car as the runoff goes into the river?
