  • MK7 R Performance Gauge

I guess R people are not happy that GTI owners get performance gauges while they don't, some guy from Vancouver came up with this petition and lots of people are getting into mk7r here so I thought you guys would be interested in this.

It's already confirmed it's coming in the 2017 cars and there are ways of unlocking it in the 2016s if you can find a dealership willing to do it. That being said, you can get all of the same functions and more with a P3 gauge, so I've always found this a bit pointless.

I was thinking about this a hour or so ago and while it stupid to offer it in the lesser model i dont think i would look at it. Ill either go p3 or a vent qauge.

I highly recommend a P3 gauge, love it in our A4, and you can clear codes with it as well!

still have my rs4 i listed at a price i could let it go for but got low balls of 20k and some lame trades. as of now i will keep it and put up for sale when it feels like a good time. ohhhh that sound of the rs4 is enough reason to leave it in my garage though.
i will be selling my mv agusta though as i have no time to ride anymore.

my golf R is on a train out here, should be getting it mid july. i must have one of the last production units for my16.

i know this isn't the place to ask but what vagcom do i need for both the rs4 and golf r?? might as well buy that

It comes in the gti why you wouldnt put it in the golf r blows my mind, so does the sunroof. They say the gold r for north america is built on the e golf line so maybe thats why the performance monitor isnt there too.

The R is built on the same line as the North American e-Golf which is why there isn't a sunroof, but the performance monitor is just a software update really, so there's no reason why it shouldn't be enabled really.
