its alright.. i dunno i'm keeping my Mk5 feelings for the jetta as I keep hearing new info that its not going to be golf inspired at all.. so we'll see..

me and kor, when we went to pickup my car at northland, saw new the passat tdi, they have the exact same mirrors as that golf i think! basically passat mirrors used to be like golf and jetta ones, not they're not as wide, taller, more rounder, and with the blinkers...

I still don't really "like" the MkV. Its okay, but I am sure that by the time I am looking for another car, it won't stand out among the crowd.

Sorry. I said it before and I'll say it again. The mk5 Golf looks like ASS
I'm with Ryan, until I see the Jetta, I won't pass complete judgement on the mk5 chassis. But as of now, I will put money on the fact that I will NEVER own a mk5 Golf. I'm sure it will be a superior car to the mk4 in terms of quality and performance....... but God!, I just can't get over the looks

I like the Mk5 Golf but only in 2 doors, the 4 doors seem a little odd. It does resemble a Honda but I think ove it is seen in person the differences will become aparent. That car is just a stock golf with drop and RS6 style wheels, but I would roll in it.

ya, well if they didnt make that civic, it would have been much better. but ya, i still have to see one in person, when i goto poland maybe i'll test drive one or something, we'll go from there!

Yeah, I probably shouldn't be so harsh with this car. For all I know, in person, it might grow on me and I'll end up buying one

I agree it looks exactly like the civic....exactly.....even rear window shape....now, I don't like the MkV for other reasons (I don't mond the looks..), its the interior...My interior looks classy, all black, nice materials, and good shape.....they made the interior of the MkV to appear cheap and aconomy....doing little things like putting grab handles down low, using poor colours, making the seats looks flat and boxy....looks like ass....I will probably buy something different my next time around, see how the RSX's are doing by that time!

I won't be getting a new car until at the earilest 2006, who knows what will be available by then? Maybe I'll be able to pick up an Alfa Romeo or something

Yeah, me neither, but I think if I were to buy another VW product, I would have to go Audi....I've always liked A4's, but maybe I'll be in a house or something and then can grab more money from the bank.....
