This weekend was not really going to work for me for the install if we were to do it together. I am going to be in Lethbridge the next two weekends (the 24th & again on May 1). What about the weekend after that?

Perhaps Jeff will have his suspension then & we could involve him too, although 3 might be a little much for one day? Whadda ya think?

          3PM to 3AM?

Well, we could try and organize ourselves enough that we do your car earlier in the day (if you want to get up early) before you go to work. I would think we should delay until next weekend at the earliest, and give this snow a chance to melt. I'm nearly sold on the FK 35/40 kit, may pick it up from C1 unless someone has a cheaper place I can get it. Anyone want to meet up for a short test drive so I can see how it rides compared to Billip and Simon's rides? I'd really appreciate it, since I think the VR6 is going to give the car too much of a nose heavy look if I went with the 55 kit.

I really want my car sitting level after I lower it, even if it means lowering it 1.5 vs 2.0" in the front.

Nope, I'm not quite there yet. I'm now giving thought to the Neuspeed springs. It seems H&R and Eibach don't make different springs for the VR6, and I want my ride sitting level. The Neuspeed should let me get to around 1.5-1.7 and still level, without having to go to coils. I really don't wanna buy anything without getting a chance to ride in them first. Anyone using the neuspeed race or sport springs that wants to take me for a 2 minute ride?

I'll bribe you with a beer... after the drive of course

There is not reason I can see why we could not get together on a Sunday to do this, and do TurboMedic's install first so he can get to work on time. I am willing to meet early.

The next sunday that I am available is May 9th. Is that too long for you guys to wait? If we were to do all 3 in the day, I can borrow my buddy's electric impact wrench & sockets to make it go a little faster.

That works for me. Now if I can only decide on what suspension to get by then... Either way, we can use my garage.

I am a little torn about what suspension to go with at this point as well. I think I want the 35/40 drop from FK, but I may go lower at some point in the future, maybe I should go with coils.

For now I think I will install the FK 35/40 springs on the stock shocks since I already have the springs. I know it is not the best way to go and they will wear out shortly, but I dont mind changing them out later once I make up my mind.

What if we tried to do it on May 8, the Saturday. I think Sunday is Mother's Day.

May 8th works for me. I might even be back in my house by then, giving us more room in my garage. It's starting to get pretty full with all the stuff that is supposed to be in my house.

So we can work out the details at the meet on the 6th? I already know Alex so at least I'll know who to look for! If I don't have my suspension by then, who else wants to put theirs on? Are you putting yours on too Gaffer? I just like looking at cars, and getting dirty, so I don't really care if my car doesn't get done
