I did try to vag-com, however I discovered that sticking my tongue in the socket and trying to read the values didn't work so well. I got a bit of a shock.

I suppose I will have to buy a vag-com at some point.

hehe, tongue belongs on the other vag.....I read various females vags all the time......back to the cars, there is a post about proper plugs for chipped cars somewhere on the 'tex.....search it out....

Have you changed your plugs? I'm makin a trip to Canadian Tire tonight to get some colder ones as I think the computer is backing off the power at high RPM's due to knock, cyl. temps, whatever.

I'm still pinning my 20 psi boost gauge and i've got 1,000 km on the chip.

I'm correcting myself. I did a bit of looking around and found that you actually want to log blocks 22 and 23.

Here is a quote from Revo Kev (administrator) on the Revo forum:

"Columns 3 & 4 show the timing retard on cylinders 1 & 2 on block 022, and cylinders 3 & 4 on block 023.
You don't want to be seeing more than 3's accross the range, under full load. If you are seeing much more than this then I would adjust your timing setting to suit. "
