Volkswagen has applied the Alltrack treatment on the 2015 Caddy and they will show it next week at IAA in Frankfurt.
Serving as a replacement for the Cross Caddy, the new Caddy Alltrack can be had in both passenger and panel van guises and both come with bespoke Quito 17-inch alloy wheels and a fresh Mojave Beige metallic paint. As you would expect from an Alltrack model, it has black trim panels on the wheel arches, side sills and the bumpers, as well as underbody protection and chrome fins in the front grille. Other changes which make it stand out from the regular model include the Alltrack logos, silver roof rails and smoked taillights.
As for the interior, it comes with specially designed 7Summits seat covers with durable Pillion fabric along with folding tables built into the front seatbacks. VW has wrapped the steering wheel, gear lever and handbrake lever in leather and they also applied a chrome finish on some of the buttons and knobs. Moreover, the Caddy Alltrack gets an alloy pedal set, unique floor mats, Muscat stitching and a faux carbon trim.
Available with an optional 4MOTION all-wheel drive system, the Volkswagen Caddy Alltrack can be had with all the engines from the Trendline trim, so you can buy it with a variety of gasoline units generating from 84 PS to 125 PS along with diesels varying in output from 75 PS to 150 PS. There's also the 1.4 TGI natural gas unit rated at 110 PS while gearbox choices depend on engine selection and include 5- and 6-speed manuals as well as 6- and 7-speed DSGs.
Scheduled to go on sale in Europe towards the end of the year, the Volkswagen Caddy Alltrack kicks off at €19,617 (VAT included) for the panel van and from €24,359 for the passenger variant.
