    Re: Detailing

So who wants to show me everything about waxing etc this weekend? I know nothign about it since I never had to wax my old rust bucket. SInce my car has a lot of K's on it the paint does have chips etc but I wouldn't mind getting a nice shine to it.

I am working on trying to get some more together with any other detailing products they might supply.
Its the same with the swirl remover, I think its hard to find except for autobody places.

I'd be into a buy on some cleaning stuff like that.

        Re: Detailing

Hmmm, since I seem to have the most time at the moment I will look into getting 3M products, from other detailing forums I have found I have yet to find someone say that it is not among the best they have ever used, the two biggest problems seem to be that it is hard to get and that it is pricey.

So I'll look into maybe setting up a GB on 3M body products.

So I'll look into maybe setting up a GB on 3M body products.

          Here is what I do.

          Wash and rinse (dont dry)
Clay ( no need to use a lub since the water is already on the car)
          wash again
          rinse and dry
then I use a polish (Meguiars) (you can layer the polish if you want a deeper shine)
after the polish is done I do a wax 9 I use s100 (harely bike wax) this stuff is amazing! but not cheap
