Salvage cars, where do you source them?

I'm ready to sell the Jetta, My next project is going to be a MK6/7 TDI golf Tiptronic.

I want to get a salvage rebuildable and fix it up this summer. I don't mind buying from the USA or Canada. Looking to spend about 6-8k.

Where do you guys go to get your salvage vehicles? I've been looking at a few sites, found some but wondering if anyone has experience and recommends one place over another?

Impact here in Calgary is where they are all at pretty much. I have done work at the calgary/airdrie locations in the past and have seen the destruction.
