There's a weird dilemma that's going on right now with my Golf R and the current setup it has.
I'm planning to get the camber specifications checked in my next service but maybe some of you experts can help me think of other potential causes of the issue.
- H&R sport springs (will change it to air suspension in the summer)
- 18x8.5 ET35 in the back
- 235/40/18 tires
- Max camber on both sides in the back
Problem:
The car rubs HARD only on the left rear tire of the car. There is no rub on the rear right side of the car. Car does not rub on the front. It also pokes more on the left side vs. right side. Pictures upon request if needed.
Possible causes:
- Camber isn't max on the left rear but service paperwork says otherwise:
- Offset is different on left rear but checked all wheels and I didn't mix up the install
- Driver is fat but should rub on front left and fuel tank is on the right side so it should balance out
What else could cause the issue?
