Car staled at lights this morning...Any thoughts?

Hey guys wondering if anyone might have some thoughts on this. The wife was coming home from her gym class this morning, stopped at a set of lights and her 2010 Golf 2.5L auto just staled as she hit the gas to continue on. She explained it as it was like when you let out on a clutch to fast on a standard to fast. When it happen the only thing she noticed was the battery light flashed a couple of times. She then started the car again and was on her way like nothing had happen. My first thought was maybe the alternator, so I have a code reader which has a test function in it for checking system voltage and its at 14.1 volts at idle so that's out. Fuel pump maybe? It has extended warranty might be worth bringing in I guess to have them look at it.

Any stored codes? Sounds like a bad sensor to me.

Nope no codes were tossed, granted all I have is one of those OBD II Code Reader made by Innova. Would a Vagcom show more?
