I would do as kuji said and replace with a lower Km engine. I have bad experiences with rebuilds.

Bad experience -- as in $$$?

These engines are getting older -- at least what 10 years old? Low mileage is hard to find.

My 24V VR6 will come out in May if you are interested in another engine for a twin-engine eurovan conversion. Have dyne sheet to prove healthy motor.
