Skid plate front mounting posts/brackets - make your own?

Been trying to help a friend install a skidplate and just realized there is a requirement for 2 posts for the front to attach to.

Anyone have any idea if there is a bracket or option that can just be purchased locally at home depot which will work? I don;t want to order it since it will take weeks to arrive.

Honestly i have the bottom kit just sitting at home if you are interested in it? Got it because i was going to use a skidplate in the winter on the GLI, then i got the volvo instead so its just sitting there

I can get the OEM ones or the evolution ones to you pretty quick
