some sites say that it is a 7528 bulb, some sites say it is a 1157. which is it? What are the ramifications if I put the wrong one in?

i hope that is accurate. i have seen GLI's with LED assemblies in the back in which case i have no clue.Ken

So I pulled the tail light today (the ones in the trunk lid). One bulb which is for the backup light is a P21W and the for the signal light is a P5W which is the same socket but smaller. I'm going to assume the P21W, 1156, 7528 & BA15S.
Now where to buy CANBUS LED replacements? I bought from superbrightleds.com for my MK4. Any other suggestions.2012 VW Jetta GLIComment
