Love it. The slightly different tail light shape compared to the rest of the MK7s fixes everything that I didn't like about them. I may have to look at one of these in a few years...

        Wolfsburg Version for Australia:

Volkswagen Australia has introduced a limited-run Golf R Wagon Wolfsburg Edition.

While the U.S. is still waiting for Volkswagen of America to bring the hot all-wheel drive Golf wagon stateside, those of you living in the Land Down Under are now able to order the model exclusively in a Wolfsburg Edition which will be offered in limited quantities. It has all the bells and whistles you would expect as the only optional equipment is an electric panoramic sunroof.

The model comes packed with a plethora of goodies such as 19-inch black alloys, heated front seats, carbon Nappa leather upholstery, blind spot monitor system and front assist with city emergency brake. Also part of the standard kit are the black door mirror covers and roof rails, along with adaptive cruise control and a choice of three exterior body paints, including the exclusive Oryx White Pearl.

Underneath the hood resides a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine pushing out 300 PS (221 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) teamed up to a 6-speed DSG and a 4MOTION all-wheel drive system. It runs the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 5.1 seconds and comes with an electronically-capped top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

You can also get the Wolfsburg Edition as a hatchback from 56,990 AUD whereas the wagon costs 58,990 AUD. Adding the aforementioned sunroof will jack up the price by 1,850 AUD.
