While driving last night from Calgary my headlights went out. Was able to use the high beams by jamming the leaver used when you flash the high beams please help.

It's a 87 Audi 5000 Quattro cd. The fuses are good. Hope it's not the switch. Even though I have a spare. But the spare is in calgary and I'm in The Pas manitoba. I'll probably have to rig something up to get back to calgary. ThanksComment
