Looking for some input on some axels for the MK5 GTI

I did some research on the Empi and Raxels but there are mixed opinions, just wondering what axels anyone has had good experience with? And would suggest

    Thanks!

    Re: Axels

I use Raxles on my mkiv I don't know how they are on mk5 but I'm like 23ftg and 400+ Whp and no problems after two years. This is after breaking 2 oem and countless empi

Empi (Empire) Axles are crap, I am very hesitant to sell them as we have had so many problems with them.

I've heard only good things about Raxles.

I've had raxles and ran them extremely low for two+ years on my 20th and had no problems with boots ect. Can't speak for how they hold up with big power though. Good bunch of guys to deal with as well

As for big power...Ryan ran these on the Yellow S4 and others also, I believe.

Raxles are good, no problem recommending them from what I have heard over the years. Empi is a chinese clone I am pretty sure and heard nothing but problems. If your axles are really screwed even going to a wrecker and getting beatup axles and replacing the cv joints with good german/euro made ones would be way better.

I Just want to upgrade them. The ones I have now are fine, just pushing its limit pretty hard

I got mine last year for ~$450 shipped, not sure how the mk4 compares to the mk5 thought.

I've been hitting them on my frame while driving for about 2 years now and I can't launch because I was told they'll break
By visual inspection they look pretty bad as well

Word. Marty from Raxles is awesome.

I need to send a few sets away.

All you need to send in is the shafts. Save on shipping!

EDIT: EMPI is garbage. Both of my front CV's blew up in a couple months.
