Some pictures from under the car, you can see the oil splatter and drips.

I've put about 800-1000 km since it started making the noise. None of the fitting seemed to be loose or broken but it's hard to tell 100% without taking the engine out.

I'll try to tear it apart over the next week but I'm not going to put another turbo in, if the turbo is done then I'm going to sell the car as a whole.

I've found you won't always have play in a bearing that makes noise. We like to suspend the wheel, and spin it by hand as fast as possible with your second hand on the spring. A bad bearing will produce a "grumble" that you can feel vibrating through the spring, whereas a new/good bearing is smooth with no feeling from the spring.

I'll take a look but it really looks like the turbo is done for, which is very frustrating considering I under-tuned it.
