Re: Air bags~
Honestly i would highly recommend learning and doing the install yourself. If you pay somebody to install it then you will run into situations where you are stuck on the side of the road with no clue how to get the system working again to limp yourself home even. If you install it yourself you know what lines run where, what electrical you have done and can easily diagnose the system. Airride is NOT one of those things i would let anybody else install for me.
You can spend anywhere from $2000 - $6000 on parts, and as i have seen locally, anywhere from $1000 - $2500 to get the install done.

It really isn't all that hard to install, just a bit time consuming when you look at everything that needs to be done. Some management systems are easier to install than others and the prices can vary quite a bit. Different struts and bags can also run the price up a decent amount. I helped a few people install their air ride before doing mine and that's pretty much the only experience I had when I decided to dive in. I had a little bit of help on the install, but I'd say I did at least 90% of it myself and never had any real issues.Last edited by CGY_GTI; 09-02-2014, 03:10 PM.Scott

Re: Air bags~
would never recommend running bags unless you install it yourself. first of all the money, and second like sean said, you will run into issues. look on bag riders faq for simple information, then read. read read and read. talk to steve at bagbarn.ca dont think the website is up, but their email is thebagbarn@gmail.com for pretty good prices.Last edited by Danaldson; 09-02-2014, 04:06 PM.

Re: Air bags~
Talk to the guys at bagbarn good prices and can install. I personally think that a pro install is not a bad thing unless you are confident in working on your own car.Been driving VAG for longer then allot of the members have been alive
