TB replace promo @ 5th Ave

I thought I was getting close on a timing belt replace, turns out I'm good for 30k km more...

I started pricing a kit to do it on my own, which I think I will still do when the time comes, but my neighbour, who works at 5th ave, pointed out the promo they have on right now. For my B5.5 TDI (BHW), it's around 900$. Really not a bad price. 2.0 gassers are $500.

If you are nearly due, I think the promo runs until mid September.

$500 for a shop to do a timing belt is a great deal! The parts are about $300 last time i checked to DIY and to have that guarantee would definitely take your mind off of things rather than saving a hundred or two bucks

Wow, that's a great deal! My Passat is due for one next year probably, but if they're on special now then I might have to do it a bit early.

The $499 is for a 2.slow and from my understanding didn't even include the water pump.

Yeah, its 900$ for my Passat TDI. No idea about water pump. Kind of lame if it is not included.
