Custom angel eyes!

Hey everyone,

I found this off another board, it looks hella cool. Its a step by step creation on how to make your own angel eyes. I dont know if they would work for our cars, but they seem to look pretty cool in the civic in the pictures they show. I think I might try it out sometime!

those are sweet! I had no idea you did your own angel eyes! Did it take very long? Those look sweet by the way! Mad Props!

thanks man, yah I'm happy with how it turned out.

turbovolks and I did it at the same time over a weekend, spent pretty much a full day doing both. You'll need at least 3 hours for the silicone to dry holding the rings on, and you'll probably want to leave the silicone holding your lightcasing back together to dry overnight, because any leaks and your lights will fog up!

It wasn't too bad to install once we figured out the formula. It was frustrating at first but I bet we could do it in no time now.

On a related note, Bart is selling some headlights at a good price... someone could buy them, then try this angel eye procedure without too much risk.

well it isn't too risky anymore. We did two sets in a row and it isnt much of a problem anymore. The only pain was taking off that big wobbly bumper..

I was considering it, but I don't enjoy cracked headlights.

Do you guys think they would look good on Jetta headlights? I was looking at them and there are only 2 round spots on the whole headlight. What do you guys think? Could the angel eye be mounted anywhere else? Cause they look DAMN tight!
