  • Chassis Dyno?

I am looking for a place to Dyno my car preferably in the Edmonton or Calgary area. I want to dyno my car this summer since I did a new exhaust, chip, intake, and cams over the winter. Just want to know what kind of power I am putting to the wheels. Anyone know of any places that do chassis dynos? Need names, locations, and phone numbers.

Denon Performance sent my ECU to AWE Tuning and they did the GIAC. Just call 888-468-0688 and ask for Andy, he'll set it all up.

So what about a chassis dyno?

You can check out Dynomotive here in Calgary (#2, 4120 17th Street SE). Cost is 50 bucks for a baseline pull, 60 for 2 runs, 70 for 3, or 90 bucks an hour. Call (403) 264-3388 or 861-1181 for an appointment. Here's a link to their website -> Dynomotive - it has all this info and more. Hope this helps you out.

There's always good old davenport too, don't know what they'll charge though. There's a for more places in Calgary here that has one, can't remember the names though.

I believe that you can simulate load on a Mustang Dyno. A Dynojet can not simulate load.

Well with a Mustang you can simulate load so it can tell you how your car will react on the road. A dynojet is good for comparing baselines to mods but is not a great indication of on the road performance. Look at awe-tuning.com and go to the GIAC chip section. Then look-up interpreting dynomometer info. This should explain it a little better.
