CEL disappeared without clearing

This sounds really weird but my CEL has disappeared after I reinstalled my boost gauge? Dont you have to clear the CEL with a vag or unhook your battery? I did notice my lights in my car flicker for a sec? Dunno why.

Maybe the light burnt out on dash cause its been on sooo long... lol.

i call that gas cap syndrome..

alot of CEL's go off after a certain amount of time.

Most intermitend CEL's (like unpluging your MAF) will clear themselves after about 7 starts or so.
