    Short shift kit options for MKIV

    I've been looking online now for quite a while and am basically coming up with nothing. I want a short shifter.
    I've had a few previous cars with a short shifter and I kind of miss that feeling. The only one I've found was on eBay and when I asked the guy if it'll fit the 6 speed mkiv transmission he basically told me he doesn't know. So after getting that answer I decided to not take that chance.
    Does anyone have a short shifter? If so, where did you get it from and are you happy with it?

    You can put in an OEM TT shifter, that's an upgrade, there are tons out there, I'm on my phone so I can't google very well here but just google: 02M short shifter.

          Thanks man but I already have the forge short shift kit.... Maybe I should have re worded it. I want a short shifter

            Diesel Geek Sigma 5, or 6 in your case. Pretty easy to install. I love mine

              In car? The only good option is to cut the stock one down slightly. The b&m ones break frequently.

                I was looking at b&m and almost went for it. Thanks for the heads up. So am I the only one who wants this done? Lol

                  I shaved a little off my shifter and have a Sigma 6 on the tranny... nice combo IMO.

                  Neuspeed has a shifter but don't have any experience with it.

                    Diesel Geek is hands down and by far the best when it comes to short shift kits...
                    As for shortening the actual shifter/knob itself. I'd just leave it

                      +1 for diesel geek. I put mine in a few weeks after I bought the car. I think it was about 10 minutes to install

                        I got the oem Audi TT one in my car, the first mod in the first week of owning it. Love it !

                          I have a Diesel Geek short shifter that I'll sell. Not sure which version it is, if you want PM me and I'll send pictures.
