Drew, next time buy wheels that came off a VW(or other euro), itll save some headaches
I dont know how well this works, but on a rally car i worked on the wheels we ran were a 56.1mm bore and we sanded the holes with a rough grit sandpaper for about half an our to shave the 1 mm off, if it works for the track i assume itll work on the streets,

A too big center bore can be fixed with a center ring, but unfortunately these are too small. I'd suggest selling them to soemone who wants to put them on their subaru/saab. Find a set of 5x100 bolt pattern, center bore 57.1, offset between +25 to +40 (works with spacers).

Thanks for the link. I was looking for a website exactly like this. selling them.

That sounds like an accident waiting to happen.

Actually that would mean 0.5mm all around was sanded off, if you got the wheels balanced afterwards it would probably be fine, your tires probably have more uneven balance in them than that.

Of course you'd have to do a great even job of sanding, and you would also have to sand down correctly the contact edge where the rim meets the hub.

I'd say too much effort for these wheels.

^this. Only way is with a cnc machine, sanding the bore is just waiting for the wheel to go off center, won't feel it on a rally car because the suspension is that soft and driving on bumpy dirt roads the entire time.
