  • Help with after market double din deck

    Bought a kenwood DDX470 blue tooth touch screen for my 02 jetta hooked up all the wires they way they should be and when I plug the harness into the unit it turns on with out the key in the ignition ...

    Sounds like you have the acc wire which is suppose to be spliced to your ignition wire spliced with your positive wire from your battery.

          Your yellow switched power wire needs to be hooked up to the 75x terminal right above your dead pedal. That is a switched power.
          Regularly the deck gets power constantly and a data signal to turn on I believe

            There is also a blue wire that should not be hooked up as it will take down any ability to scan the car.

                  My bad. Coming from airride where the red is constant 12V.

                  OP if your memory settings aren't working then double check the wiring, as corrected the RED wire should be hooked up to the switched source
