How'd you hear these two particular guys were released? Are they connected eg. part of the same ring? Any idea if they're thieving just to do a drug run and ditching the cars, or are they pillaging and selling the parts?

True, but those are super easy cars to break into. Two of my buddies have/had Sunfires and their keys fit into other people's cars. One time my buddy parked his car at the University and accidentally drove some other guy's car half way home before he realized that it wasn't his.

My grandfather did that once too... borrowed my aunt's new Dodge minivan, took it to the mall. Came home in a different mini van. Cops rang the doorbell the next morning, no one realized he had the wrong vehicle. Keys were exactly the same.

The company I work for makes something similar that has a cell unit built in so you can phone it and find its location. We mostly sell them to gas sites. I heard a stroy that they even got a truck back from texas

They were running around in Red Deer, my parents neighbour is the cop that brought them in. The VW dealership in Red Deer told me this past weekend they were let out and steeling again. They came to the meth rehabilitation clinic in Red Deer and I guess said screw it, so they are trying to support there habit I suspect. As far as what they do with the cars not to sure, they just stole everything valuable out of my car.....bastards.
