Glad you're ok! Sad for the car but it did it's job and protected you.

I'd buy it back, if parting it out you should be able to get the buy back value out of your rims and tires.
If rebuilding it the cash from the insurance will cover some upgrades, maybe a new engine?

Who are you with? When my A3 got written off Melloche Monnex tried to offer me a bit low, but after a five minute talk and looking at prices of other A3's around I bumped my payout up by 4500 and they cancelled my deductible as well.

Its the other parties insurance company's thats paying for the repairs. But my dad will be helping me out and making sure we fair price for all the work that been done. i recently had the transmission rebuilt and a ton of other work.. And jerry If i end up parting her out you have first dibs on the skirts.

So an update to the beercan. The car was written off and the buy back is 750$(HOLLY crap buyback) still the car is up for parts officially now and a thread will be made in the PARTS section
