VwSweetHeart asked for if I had any ideas for a rear valance update for the R32. Here is a sketch I did of a more aggressive diffuser with vertical diffuser fins. I think it would work in CF or OEM color. Any other ideas?
I think you should round off the edges of the fins. It would look great in both cf and OEM color, however I do believe vw people prefer OEM color over cf majority of the time.

In reality the fins would have to be rounded they would have to release from a mold. I think CF valance and a small CF front lip would set off a White R32.
^ I kinda like the top one but those taillights completely throw it off. Middle one is really clean, simple oem in CF. The last one painted in body color seems to make it look like the back of Tiguan, and once again those taillights. Of them the middle is the nicest.
I've been looking for a Thunderbunny Rear bumper since the spring because that's the closest thing available that would get the job done after modifications.
If you do make custom diffusers, you should totally make the Thunderbunny Concept rear.
I do custom work. Tracy asked me for some ideas for a CF diffuser for her R32. And talking to Rod on the weekend cruise made me realize that my rendering skills have been atrophying, so this is a good little project to fool around with. I am working on another B8 s4 CF valance that will also go on the B5. Custom stuff gets expensive but if enough people want something then it may be worth it to do a mold and crank a few out.
Oh I see. Haha your rendering skills look top notch to me.
If you can manage the Thunderbunny concept rear, I will totally buy one without question, regardless if people want the same thing haha. Totally wouldn't mind paying for a one off custom piece.
