    Re: Revo in Alberta!!!

Perhaps someone should pedal a club deal up there or so?? Maybe they'd be willing to do a NVD discount, for anyone in the future then?

maybe we can set up a group buy if they don't go for the club discount.

anyways, on the weekend, i was talking to some guys a matrix. they said that their price is not fixed....it might go down about $50 or so....and they said that might happen as early as next week. they're just starting to finalize things.

but once the snow melts and i put my summer tires back on, i'm gonna go for the 5hr flash trial (5hrs driving time)...since its free and give it a whirl.

WOW! so i phoned them up today. Spoke with Lee. He said current price is 675!! way off the website lol.. i told him about how we are club in calgary/edmonton(sorta lol) and if we could get a discount. he said if we bring multiple people in we can get it for 635-640/person! pretty decent there! He said to they dont' yet have thier Bench cable but should in another 2-3 weeks so it looks like after dyno day this might be a good thing to do.
He said they've had it since october!!! revo's site man.. update that shiz.. anyways he said they've sold it to a bunch of edmonton people and have been going nuts with the trails

how does that 5 hour trial work? does it expire on its own, or do you have to go back? what if you dont? or do they have some sort of deposit? lol

yeah...there is ...$675 later!! i believe that in order to turn it back on again, they enter in a code and voila...chipped forever....

Hey Ryan, did he say anything about the cost of the SPS module? What exactly does $635-$640 get you?

                      Re: Revo in Alberta!!!

635-640 should be the full program. The program is identical to the trial (without the timer) so you can always get a switch box later on if you want. And if you want to move up to sps3 later, you can just get the box or use someone elses.

If you have the trial you have everything - so if you could crack the activation/timer thing you'd be good to go. But it's encrypted so good luck. That's actually the reason they have to being stealth (it's not for dealer or insurance avoidance, it's to prevent copying wink wink nudge nudge).

I will get the trial, drive for 30 mins or so and then unless something weird goes on, go back and buy the thing. Just a matter of getting the $$s.
