SoWo, Leavenworth, and GCVW all stuck out to me as great events during the summer 2014.

Last year Leavenworth was 1200 cars roughly. I was under the impression that GCVW was roughly 1500 each year? Never been so I could be wrong.

I've been to gcvw twice and I'd say its around the same size maybe a little bigger then the ill motion show at max bell. Wouldn't mind taking the mk1 again this coming year that or just take it for a trip to van. I love that drive.

I want to do Leavenworth too. I'd probably make a trip of it and take the Tdi.

The year I went to GCVW it wasn't even close to as big as Leavenworth was. The Maxbell show is probably a good comparison to GCVW but there are events during the whole weekend including drag racing at the strip and some other stuff. It's still worth the trip but Leavenworth is definitely on my list for next year.

Leavenworth was definitely a blast! Hopefully Heidi has a better time of it this year. Knowing a bit more of how the drive is, leaving a little earlier in the day would be better I think.
