  • Need help, I am looking for someone with a b6 Passat with heated seats!

    Hey,

I have a 2007 Passat wagon. My drivers heated seat quit working last winter but the passenger seat still works.
I spoke to my mechanic and he said check all of the fuses. I metered them all out and everything is ok.
Next step is replacing the heated seat switch module under the drivers seat.

Would anyone out there be willing to let me swap there working switch in quickly? It literally just unplugs and plugs back in.
I am trying to avoid buying a new switch if that's not the problem since it cannot be returned.

    Thank you!

I thought the control was in the switch for the seat?

The control is just under the HVAC control unit. The part in question is basically a relay mounted under the seat.

Why not switch the relays between the drivers side and passenger side then?

Great idea but unfortunately the one switch controls both seats... On a brighter note a I am meeting up with a member on the weekend to give his a shot!
