I would indeed agree, sir!! The pics I took were kind of rushed as it was super cold out and i took them hastily - so their quality is kinda bad. In person the car looks FANTASTIC!

Derek, when is it going to be all cleaned up? I'd like to swing by there again and take a look at it when it's nice and shiny And hopefully I can get there before you guys close this time! :P

Oh, and what's the MSRP on that silver Phaeton?

I paid $28,500 for my 03 GTI (with 12 km on it) in November. There is no way on this planet I would have dropped the kind of change VW is asking for the 20AE's, the 337's or that Jetta. I could think of other fine ways to spend 35-40 on a car, in fact for not much more money the letters SVT come to mind.

SVT What!! For the $28500 you spent on you GTI, you could have gotten an SVT if "Focus" is what you are referring to. Granted the 20th wasn't cheap, but add up the parts and I think its a great deal!

I'll let you know when its cleaned up!! Oh, the MSRP on the silver phaeton is a mere $98000 plus GST! Its only the "wimpy" V8!! Ha Ha!!

I'm saying that for not a lot of cash over a $35,000 - $40,000 GLI/20ae/337 I could have me an SVT Mustang. If not the supercharged one, at the very least last years model with the 4 valve engine.

$40K is pretty close to a G35. That would be my choice, over any VW.

My Jetta cost me $25 though, that is a HUGE difference. For $25K I stand by it as the very best car.

Well remember the car is msrp of just under $33,000, so you guys are still a fair ways away from Cobras and G35s. However for this price I don't think you can find too many cars that are 6 speeds, body kitted, turbo charged, great interiors and with 18" BBS in that price range. Hell this car is less then my 337 that I got over a year and a half ago and a Jetta will be easier to resell

If I was looking for a new dub I am not sure I could pass this up!

Id be all over it like a dirty shirt if it was a 2.8....sucks that you can only get a 4cyl ...its supposed to be their sporty one!!

it would be hella rad if it came with the 3.2!! but maybe VW made it the 1.8T because they are planning on releasing chips i doubt it but ya never know lol
