New Ride - 2013 Golf TDI

Well, yesterday was moving day. One forum up (Bavaria back up to Wolfsburg).

I traded in my Silver B5 S4 on a Blue Graphite Pearl TDI Golf Wolfsburg.

It's going to take a bit to get used to the change in how they drive, but the biggest difference came from a car with over 200,000 km to one with 62 km. So far, the fuel economy has been what I've been watching the most. Those savings alone will almost make the car payments.

I don't have a lot of plans for it yet beyond winter wheels and tires.

I always said I drove my S4 like an old man.

I was limping along with suspension issues (control arms and springs), and really lost faith in it.

TDI has torque. Great economy. Great fit and finish. And warranty.

please get good high lubricant diesel fuel conditioner with cetane to keep the pump alive and the dpf clean. fuel gelling is not a concern here so the de icer in the conditioner not as big of a factor... use the conditioner religiously and you can expect +300,000k from your injection system ... dont and its hard to hit 150,000 before a $7000 bill

So, a TDI noob question. Where do I find the conditioner? Is it a Canadian Tire purchase, or something more specialized than that?

I'm spending time on TDIClub, but haven't dug deeply into fuels and conditioners yet.

Power service at Canadian tire, it goes on sale a few times a year too. White or silver bottle, I buy which ever one is cheaper as our diesel fuel up here is winter treated.
