    hey guys do i have to take off my rear bumper to get of the rear valence.?

    No, you don't have to take the whole bumper off. I can't remember exactly how to get the valance off, but Ryan should be pro at that by now, I bet he knows.

      LOL thanks mike.. well golf is i'm gonna assume pretty similar to the jetta.. there will be 2 or 3 torx in each wheel well to remove then the valence itself is torxed on from underneath there are about umm 4 all around i think.. then you well pull from one side and it helps to stick a butter knife in the slit and push the slot things to help them release.. it'll come off.. you can remove the bumper too which makes it easy but its kinda more work

        1. Unscrew from bottom and from wheel wells.
        2. Pull like bastard.
