I love these wheels, but generally speaking I don't think these will look good in a mk4, I think they're more suited for a more modern car. Then again I've never seen them on one so prove me wrong that's a pretty good deal for those!
So I ended up going in a different direction. Got these 19x8 ET 30 rims for a really good deal. However I don't know what they are, anyone know what and what they're worth? :-)
I was thinking of going with 135/35r19 tires since its about the only size in winter/all weather (not all season) tires. My only worry is about them fitting. With the adapters I'm going to be ET 10, but I think it'll fit.
They look like Brabus Monoblock VI wheels, could be real or reps, look for some markings on the back of the wheels. I would say ET10 is pretty aggressive, think you will need more like 215/35/19 to have less rubbing issues.
For reference after just a quick search 19x8.5 ET10 rear ET20 front on 215/35/19
