I went with APR for the HPFP, DP, Carbonio Intake and APR tune. Since then I added a HPA Quad Pack cat-back. I think I'll upgrade to the VWR Intake soon.
Have to say I've noticed a massive improvement with the Haldex controller. Even when pulling away at partial lock I can feel the car pushing it's way around rather than being pulled. I'd recommend this controller to be done to any new R owner as their first mod. Right up there with a stage 1 flash.

Looks like I'll follow in your footsteps. The quad pack sounds mighty nice from the video and from what I've read around Vortex, people seem to prefer Carbonio over VWR.

I'll see how Haldex handles in winter but do recommend those two mods when starting out.

How many kms have you put on your R since going Stage 2+? No issues?

I think it's been around 7-8k since I added Stage 2+. No issues although I'd like to upgrade my clutch eventually so I can do some harder launches.

im in on the R for the VII the VI was a bit of a let down running the fsi over the tsi ... missing the torque the awd really needed and if you drove it back to back with a gti the gti was faster so that made up my mind .. as well as the 10000 difference ... (paid 32000 tax in for my dsg gti ) golf r is over 44000 after premium charge

Not sure if this question is in the right spot but I did not want to make a new thread and I am too lazy to search.
With the Freedrive tour, I've seen on a FB page that the MKVI GTI has been to a couple of locations, just wondering if anyone actually knows if it's going to be in Calgary? I may take a drive up to check it out if it is.
