See for me, i want DSG. I drive stick now but i feel for the poor car at -25 and that transmission is frozen, plus with wrist issues developing it's starting to make more sense now.
Dont get me wrong, i love drive stick and throwing through the gears, but i see a lot more benefits to DSG.
Well I guess you are both in luck then because there will be a choice of either manual or DSG!
I don't think you get a choice when a deposit is made on the car. So it's hit or miss which I think is why Lars says deal breaker. I could be wrong though.

Huh??? Both have deposits on a Golf R. When the time comes to put in the order they can both order the transmission they want! Win for both!

Not sure if this was posted already, but seeing the car drive by slowly so you can see the different angles of the car....is making me lean toward getting a mk7 R over a mk6 R. haha
