Glad things worked out for you Peter good to hear. I have never had any problmes with SC, but I know that when I take the 337 for its first service next month I am going to talk with Ken Johnson!

Glad you are happy finally. I am happy that they(SFC) made their service tech treat customer with good attitude finally….. Asking “Why modding ya da ?” is pretty much stupid these days. People like us that we mod the car in a similar fashion. They know what common things to do on a street car. We are the bread and butter for VW and VW dealerships.

With known cylinders #1 & #3 coil pack failure. It is only a 10 min work for them.

I always deal with ken when I go to SCFC. He's pretty good and has never brought up any of the things that I have done to the car. 5th ave on the otherhand...

Sounds like you are going to be going to SCFC to your service from now on. See my comments on the 32000km service and I think that you are making a good choice either way. If price wise they are going to be the same, SCFC seems to put a bit more detail into things.

I've got an 02 1.8T and this coil issue is making me so nervous that I'm going to buy 2 spare coils this weekend. 37 bucks each - worth piece of mind.
