I wouldn't trust DDM bulbs for an OEM projector. Buy a good OEM brand bulb, it won't have as much UV transmittance and it won't tend to burn the reflective surface of the projectors like the aftermarket bulbs usually do. Also using aftermarket bulbs with OEM ballasts usually leads to early failure, or the other way around, of both components.

These are the best D1S bulbs on the market, 4300k lumen output from them at 5000k compared to other 5000k bulbs which usually diminish in output as kelvin rises

Also remember that HID bulbs should be replaced as pairs, not singles unless you use the phillips 82155+ bulbs which don't change color over time. Even then its recommended to change them together.

I just about to suggest TRS. So I second the vote.

Canada HID has good prices $100 for a set of 2 HID bulbs. I bought a set for my GTI and they were good! No flicker.

I was quoted $320 from an Audi dealer...

Ordered from hidconcept.com for $56/bulb plus $15 USPS shipping and arrived in about a week.
