42dd Perfect Led issue

Well upon putting my new in earlier this week it worked great for about 10 minutes then started to flicker high/dim/off. I found out there was an issue with some of them so I emailed 42dd and they shipped off a fix the same day!!! WOW! also I installed my new T fitting and no more buzzing!!! its amazing how good thier customer service is!

I need one of those LED's.....and I never had a buzzing issue that I hear so often! Does it match well though??

yea but i was looking at the Omori guages for our cars and they match 100% and the lighting is full not like 1/2 and stuff but they cost like 200cdn for just a guage!! i dunno i'll rock this one for a while and possibly switch if i get bored

no dude trust me i was so used to the buzz to the new t fitting makes the guage sooooo much better.. now all i hear is my turbo and its gonna sound reaallly loud after my samco this weekend

Hmm, you guys have VDO vision guages?? Mine doesn't have the translucent face.....I have what C1 carries, that sucks.....

I was thinking about picking up a turbo gauge from C1 but they're no good?

The other kind I was looking at was a cobalt series. They match perfectly, even with the red needle. But the boost gauge is like 200 bucks, I think its got one of those electronic control boxes or something tho.

I really like the pod that comes with the C1 one tho, does anyone know if you can buy those seperate? As well as a double pod or something like that. . . I think I read on here that someone already asked that . . . but Im not sure. . .

this is the best setup for our cars.. 42dd A pillar pod and an Omori boost guage.. the omori doesn't buzz and looks the biz and color matches and the lighting actually fills the guage like the OEM cluster and the needle is illuminated in red..

The 3-gauge solution for those of us with single DIN stereo's would be nice. Especially with the aluminum dash kit.

How much do you think it would cost to switch to the Omori gauge, and where would I get it? Might as well look at that before I order the perfect LED... got any pictures?

kris just vortex search recent and archives for omori.. tons of photos.. the omori costs like 160US!!!!thats what i paid in CDN for my entire current setup lol

Pretty sure the Omori is a VDO with a redone lighting to make the needle light up.

The cobolt doesn't really match - but it's got good needles.

My guage is fine, its just got the metal face with the ambient lighting, rather than the thru face lighting, which is what I wanted....so if any of you go to omori and want to offload your vision, give me a shout!! I'm fine with a little more dim....people are hung up on this omori thing, but I can't justify the cost for a guage....Accuracy is fine, but I don't thing the .5psi it may be off being an issue..... BTW the Cobalts look nice and bright!!

Cedrick, you can buy just the pod seperate, but its 99 bux from C1, and 140 or so with the guage.....look at the pics of my car in the members rides section to see what they sell...
