I was driving down Deerfoot at around 9ish tonight. I was in the far left hand lane going about 120 kph, and I made a couple lane changes around some slower traffic, then all of a sudden I see this car tailgating me! So I speed up and switch lanes, and the dude then follows. I was then like whatever because my exit was comming up, so I got on the offramp and the dude followed, then it happened . . . cherries and blue berries in the back window. I was soo pissed. The cop came to the door and told me that he clocked me at 135 kph, and that I had failed to indicate. The cop was a nice guy at least and that helped my anger. He was so nice he ignored the speeding ticket and only hit me with the failure to indicate ticket (which Im pretty sure I most probably did). . . Im just so upset that I have to pay this ticket now! Its only $115, and I hear thats not too much in comparison to other tickets people have gotten . . . but thats quite a bit of money for me. I guess I did the crime, I gotta pay for it now.

I don't understand why the police often tailgate for like 10 mins (very obviously). I guess they could be running your license plate, still not a good excuse.KR

yah they follow closely for a while to run your plate, and then follow you closer until its safe to pull you over.Originally posted by Kor
i've gotten pulled over 4 times in the last 3 days because their computers incorrectly say that i'm "uninsured" even though I am and have proof of it. Guess I'll keep getting pulled over until their computers update. But usually the cop will follow me super closely for a couple minutes until I turn onto a side road where its safe to pull me over and then they throw on the cherries.SimonComment

I was coming home form dowtown last night on Macleod trail and was clipping along until I noticed a suspicous looking car and then found out there where to unmarked rolling together, looked like SWAT guys I think they where escorting a white unmarked van, could be prisoner transport??Blair
