I sold my GTI to a kid in the fall who also owned another silver MK4 at the time. This is the only picture I could find of the car from his facebook page. If you want you can PM me and I can give you his contact info.

That's the plan, but I got the nastiest rock chip on my hood the size of a dime and I was debating touching it up first. My fault for not getting on it sooner.

And before I officially put it back on the road, I'm in the market for rubber. They are for my 18x8 aristo reps. Input on size is welcome. I don't want to stretch too much.

Obie, you can either do a 215/40 or a 205/40. 215/40 its a VERY light to no stretch and looks pretty good. Here's a pic on Tracy's old black car.

I would honestly stick with a 225/40 tire. Aristo's never look good with stretched tires, even slightly. They always look better when they have a completely flat sidewall.

these are reps, so 8's not 7.5's.
I think 225 would be stretched too.
Would I do a 235/40 instead?

Sorry, I should have mentioned this for reference. Those 215/40's on Tracy's car are on an 18x8 wheel. Not an aristo, but you get the point.

The ones I have on now are 225/40, I believe I'm gonna stick with that size.
