There was a thread a few months ago discussing different grey colors. If you find that thread, you may get some good ideas. All I remember is that Lotus has a very nice agressive looking grey which would look great on your GTI!

Go to the shop that's painting it and ask to see the gray paint chips.....

Such a hard decision haha!! But seriously leaning towards the platinum grey and the lotus Elise carbon grey!!
Tomorrow I'm going to the shop to finalize things. . Should have messed around with photoshop before deciding to paint it

My wife's avant is Dolphin Grey and my GTI is Silverstone. To be honest, I think the Silverstone is the nicer of the two. Deeper metalic and a better opalescent effect.

Fair enough haha I just get a hard on whenever I see a dolphin grey b6 probably one of my favourite colours out there

That dolphin grey is really nice too, but kinda inbetween the silverstone and the platinum grey.
I think I'm going to go with the lotus Elise carbon grey!

Car was done being painted last week, but glass guy couldn't make it out till tomorrow. So that is when I get her back . My ultimate plan is to get all the 20th ae body kit but I don't want to spend 2000 at the dealer ship.
