summer tire in this weather

can i still drive with kumho 712 in calgary now?? anyone knows?? please help!
i couldn't help to put mine on.... everytime calgary has a chinook, i get this rush to change my tires... am i abnormal?? (it is my first set of alloy and tires )

I dunno, my 712s are very poor on any sort of freezing stuff, I wouldn't reccomend it, get some winters and roll on those, plus the gravel is not rim friendly.

Better to have Winters in nice weather than Summers in poor weather. If it suddenly starts to snow, suddenly you're risking your own safety.

However, if its nice you can of course switch if you want to put in the work.

I wait until I see the first rounds of street cleaning. It's usually a good indication the city doesn't plan on laying down any more gravel. I have a floor jack and it's only a 15-20 minute job if you need access to a garage to swap them over. Just give me a PM if you want a hand swaping over in the spring.
