X2. This even applies if you have steelies with hubcaps. STILL looks better than nice wheels with 4 inch gap

I'll come if there's another guy that'll help, I'm sure the front suspension would not be much different than a MKIV. We'll just need a spring compressor. I'll bring my tools. A few bottles of coke will take care of me lol cuz coke is not allowed in my family so they're like priceless to me. I'm sure we can get the job done in 6 hours.

Well i am actually off work temporarily till after my surgery day coming up. So basically anytime. I do have a socket set, Air compressor. Basic tools. No specialty tools. MESSY GARAGE BEWARE!! haha... So its really up to you guys, and thanks again guys for the help!!! Us 3 should be fine to do it right?? Sorry im just no guru at all when it comes to suspension.

Air compressor will take care of most of the stuff, maybe Wednesday? I can do anyway except for Monday and Tuesday this week.

You got wheels spacers already? You might need them to clear the spring perches.

Don't have any wheel spacers yet, i heard its unlikely ill need them. Tom ill call concept 1 get some info.

To be honest i wouldn't put trust in somebody from Concept1 to help you with suspension/wheel setups. Not saying that they aren't capable, i'm just saying that they may not know all the necessary details/ask the correct questions in order to give you the correct advice.

What wheels & tires are you currently using and what springs/coilovers are you going with? I'm sure that some mk5 guys on here will have more useful experience to help you out with determining if spacers are needed or not

I'm currently using the 18" stock wheels. Im looking at buying the FK Highsport Coilovers originally purchased at concept 1 for a mk5/6. Basically brand new in box. I think its depending on the kit that you need the spacers or not? Either way i did some research and couldn't really find anything. Ill keep looking, and keep ya guys updated. So far we will plan for Wednesday though!!
