Front end swap

So my buddy's mkiv Jetta broke down and I got a mkiv golf so I thought this would be great to do a swap. I bought his fenders lights hood bumper and all that good stuff, and for pretty cheap. First thing is that the bumper is literally brand new, not painted, and it has no rub strip. So where can i get one? Would the one on my golf transfer over? As well I'm going to go badge less grille, so I need a shop to fill in the notch. Looking for a shop so any advice on which one would be great. Not a big job so I don't need the best of the best. And I would get them to paint my bumper as well. Thanks guys

You can. Buy that hood notch filler thing. Btimbit's Jetta is for parts in the classified.

i dont think the rub strip from ur golf will fit. i could be wrong tho.

as for the hood notch, pm colin (baggedGli) i believe he does some body work.
