Yes! Always use Jackstands!

That is what I was going to say. If you are jacking something up no biggy if it fails as you should still have the tires on till you get a jackstand in place.

Yea I'd spend the money to avoid the rage I went into when my jack failed(there's a good chunk of concrete missing)

Canadian tire had a 50% off sale on Michelin low profile/hi lift jacks today. I picked one up, works great. Still doesn't quite fit under the Gli side skirt at 23.25 FTG

i have the c-tire special 2 tonn jack with some custom hockey puck pinch weld saver/spacer since side skirts are low.
