Hello Everyone !
I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone here, I dont know if this is the right section to do this in or not, so forgive me. I drove valet in Ontario, and when I got into my first mk4 GTI, the indigo dash hypnotized me, and when I drove away and felt the power from this beautiful car, I automatically fell in love. Being a student, I bought my first mk4 2.slow. Drove it for a couple of years, put some insanse k's on it and then drove it out to Calgary in 09. I was new to the city looking for a job, so yeah got rid of the car. I bought and sold a few mk3 gti's hoping to upgrade each time. Some how ended up with an e30 bmw which is a whole story of its own haha. 5 cars later I ended up with the car I have always wanted, GTI VR6. Well not quite, I want an R32, but I had to stick with what I could afford haha. I always wanted the rave green one but I dont think it came in the 24v, but I could be wrong. I am not heavy in the mods yet, but I have to do essentials. So far it has CAI, spacers all the way around, rear sway bar. Joey Headlights, from concept, ( cracked this winter
). I have a set of adjustable coilovers, which will go on in the next couple of weeks. I have a set of 18's enkei bortex wheels which I want to replace with aristo's. Hoping to get those soon!!
My to do list:
1.New windshield
2.front right bearing and abs sensor. (slipped on ice and into a curb doing 10km/hr u turn dt)
3. coilovers
4. new wheels.
5. exhaust.
6. tune.
7. paintjob. buddy before me didnt take care of it much, still conemplating that one. most $$$ on the list haha. (after the turbo)
8. VRT (ultimate mod, not sure when, but I do want to do it!!)
Would love anyones input on anything. suggestions. Help
