  • Insurance price in the states? And new member!!

Hey guys and gals! My name is Dave. I work at Midwestern Auto group here in central Ohio. I might be getting a 2003 I. Yellow AE GTI. I have horrible crredit so I am hoping my girlfriend will co-sign for me. I will know for sure tomorrow. (That is a big favor to ask your significant other.) LOL! Anyway like I said I am actually working in the Land Rover building that is where I am stationed. But my quick question is: How much is insurance on these GTI'S? I am 21 with no accidents or speeding tickets? Any thoughts would be greatly appretiated! Thanks again and wish me luck tomorrow!

good luck with it and you should be able to call your insurance agency and ask how much it would be. if you have the VIN they will give you an exact but if you dont they will still probably give you a close estimate

There are tons of places on the net that will give you an online quote. Here in Canada, you can get online quotes from most of the major banks. I am sure the States will have the same sort of service. You can enter all of your info (including vehicle make, year and model) and get a "ballpark" figure. My experience has been that the banks tend to give mid range estimates. So when you do call around, you will at least have an idea of how much you can expect to pay.

      Oh yeah, welcome to nvd.
