  • Mk 4 .:R32 Euro Sport rear X brace group buy

Hey guys, im buying a rear X brace from Euro Sport for my .:R and wanted to see if anyone wanted to order at the same time so we could save on shipping.

The prices for the X brace will be the same as online/vortex but if more than 1 order we can save a few bucks on bringing them north.
Painted satin black $179.95, Uncoated, raw steel $174.95

I had Vic quote me on shipping price per X brace sent:

    1 $55
    2 $85 (42.50 shipping per person)
    3 $115 (38.34 shipping per person)
    4 $145 (36.25 shipping per person)

They will be sent USPS, not UPS or Fedex so no brokerage fees.

Let me know if you are interested, I will give this a week before placing the order to give people time to decide if they want to pick one of these up.

You can read the thread about them on vortex here http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...s-Your-Chassis

And see the euro sport page here http://www.eurosportacc.com/products...x-brace-vw-mk4

Ben, from all the research i've done, dont waste your money on these. Invest another $120 and buy a Unibrace. After driving an .:R with a Unibrace and seeing reviews, I would not both going with anything else. Just my .02.

I believe Sean (SLHazy) has a Unibrace in his .:R so i'm sure he'd take you for a rip if you wanted.

      I agree with Pat!

First thing I'll be getting this spring is a Unibrace.

Mk5 R32 also use and recommend Unibrace.

It would be nice to have one, but I can't live without the ability to haul stuff around haha.

ya i was thinking unibrace as well but i really like that i can still put things in the car and slide it under the X brace. From what i have read it is as solid as a unibrace plus it gives me more function. The price is also nice as well as im saving up for a wedding at the moment.
as the car is my DD i think the X brace will make the most sense as the car will rarely be tracked and the hardest it will be driven is spirited runs around town and OBCR

              ^ Agreed.

I would have done the same, Ben. Post some feedback when you have it installed.

having a Uni-brace is defiantly a noticeable mod on our cars. As for the being able to slide things through the x-brace I see the idea...But if your folding the seats flat its gonna be for something bigger I'm thinking.
I still fit my Mountain Bike in the back just threw a blanket over the brace to protect from scratches. The brace only sits 4" above the truck floor in the middle.
